Emergency

In Case of an Emergency

If we just vaccinated your pet and it is showing signs of an adverse reaction (such as severe vomiting, weakness, facial swelling/itching, or breathing problems) come back to the vaccine clinic, if it is still open, or call Dr. Smith at 614-537-1322.

Mild temporary site swelling and tenderness after vaccination is normal. It may be worse 1-3 days after the vaccination(s).  Call Dr. Smith if you have concerns.  Never give any human medications to a pet except exactly as directed by a veterinarian.   Many common human medications are deadly to dogs and cats.

Please do not use email or social media to reach us during an emergency. Call us.
